Athesia

Originally founded as a calendar publisher with sporadic book production, it became a classic book publisher in the mid 1960s. Well-known South Tyrolean authors were already the basis for a successful and growing publishing programme.
In the 1980s, the programme was considerably expanded and the series of successful cookery books began with the bestsellers “Die Küche in Südtirol” by Anneliese Kompatscher (1984) and “So kocht Südtirol” (2000), “So backt Südtirol” (2007) and “So Enjoy Südtirol” (from 2009) by Heinrich Gasteiger, Gerhard Wieser and Helmut Bachmann.
