About the Best Cure against Loneliness

With the pandemic and the reduction of social contacts, the problem of loneliness of many people in our society has received a strong push. In a wide range of topics from an- tiquity to our present, Schoepp describes friendship as a social construct and a stressful feeling of an often lifelong connection with a high value for society, social life and the mental health of the individual. Based on legendary friend- ships and with many inspiring examples, Schoepp encour- ages us to open ourselves unconditionally to friendships.
