Wasim’s family has to leave their home because of the war raging in their homeland. Grandma and Grandpa cannot go with them.
That’s why Wasim is very grateful for the west his grandma sewed for him. He is sure it will keep him safe. That is indeed necessary because the sea is rough and the journey long, until the family finally finds a safe place in the Café Welcome.
