➤ Magic in the light of psi-research
➤ Magic with practical applications for everyone
➤ Awakening the dormant potential of magic
In this, our rationally saturated world, there no longer seems to be room for magic. But it still exists. We are not speaking here of false magic, which is based on sleight of hand, but rather of the genuine kind, both of the traditional or handed down variety, as well as researched magic. It is a fact, that for some hundred years or so, magical phenomena have been researched. Who better to present us with an up-to-date status of the subject than a woman who has been involved for decades with magical phenomena. First, a simple question: do you believe in ESP (extra-sensory perception)? No? – But surely you must have had a dream, or even many dreams. What is a dream other than a perception, which may even churn us up emotionally and which, however, has no sensory perception as a base? And the world of magic is only a slight shift away in consciousness; in this book we illuminate this magical world in all its many facets. Not only that; the book also offers a wealth of practical inspirations and exercises of how to become acquainted with the world of magic and how we may enter it. From the foreword: A long path has been trodden from magic to science and it will continue to be so, however, the further it leads us, the more magical our world will become again. What we “know” at present, goes beyond the imaginable and throws light on the ancient view of the world, in which everything appears more mysterious than ever before. In that sense, science is increasingly approaching magic again. Physics in particular, probably the most exact science after mathematics, is becoming ever more mystical. I hope therefore that the message I am conveying, in spite of all the ‘dressing up’ in the text, will come across clearly enough and may open within you a gateway to actual amazing possibilities. Magic is real. Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa already told us, “Magic is not playing about with tricks”. If you are sticking to the rules of the game on your journey of exploration in the world of magic, nothing can go wrong for you, or happen – except for pure adventure. Annekatrin Puhles’s book has assembled magical knowledge from history and the present as a basic experience of taking on the role of a creator. Using examples, reflections and experiences, she invites her reader to allow magic into daily thought processes and actions.
