Identifying and gathering them, and enjoying them in many ways. With 52 healthy recipes

The authors present 44 native plants that endow us with their wild seeds – with information on their growth sites, ripening season, harvesting and applications. Wild seeds such as beechnuts, acorns and edible chestnuts, and seeds from chickweed and garlic mustard, can be used in many ways – as condiments, spices, for producing mustard, and for flour and coffee, cooking oil and germ buds. The more than 50 fine recipes presented here are especially full of ideas – sweet and savoury, simple and sophisticated, healthy and delicious.
