Human Being-Divine Being
Christianity is, in fact, a paradoxical way, because this way has for origin, a being which is the paradox incarnate.
Yeshua, truly man and truly God, fully carnal and totally spiritual, servant of all and master of all, humbled and Lord in the end.
He places our finitude at the heart of the infinite, our mortal being at the heart of our time, he is in the world and not of this world, he makes of his flesh the Temple of the Spirit and of all things.
He invites his disciples to lead a life as paradoxical as his own, as incomprehensible and blessed as his own.
This path of cresting and vertigo is strangely relevant today. True Christians ‘pass through the world doing good”, without attraction, without repulsion. They do not allow themselves to be carried away by polemics or by the a priori, the peremptory affirmations that occupy our current situation… Beyond dogmatism and secular fanaticism, beyond confusion, they constantly bear witness to the greatness of the human condition.
