Card deck in Box, 100 cards

The “inner critic” – that’s how we call an inner part that criticizes us. Or rather: It is a part we use to criticize ourselves fiercely, adapt more strongly and drive ourselves to perfection. Even though the inner critic often has a good intention, he can partly be responsible for strong exhaustion, a feeling of being driven and sometimes also for depression, anxiety disorders or psychosomatic complaints. Dealing properly with the inner critic is therefore essential for self-care.

In this card deck, the author presents exercises and impulses

  • to better understand the inner critic and his background,
  • to build up a healthy distance to the inner critic,
  • use mindfulness in order to experience peace and regeneration
  • to build up a helpful mindset that protects against too strong self-criticism.
