Designing dry-tolerant gardens
In the future, would you prefer to spend your valuable time in the garden lying in a reclining chair listening to the crickets rather than running around with a hose or watering can? In this book, you’ll find inspiration for lively plantings with grasses and perennial herbs, planted walls and modern garden designs. Plant in a planned fashion, with constantly beautiful flowerbed combinations that really work, and don’t just fall flat in the first summer heat. Turn to the survival artists among the shrubs, trees, grasses, bulb plants, and annuals and biennials that a dry summer can’t harm and you’ll have more time to enjoy your garden.
