A charming biography of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, aviator and writer, and author of the famous Little Prince.

Félix Girard

Félix Girard grew up near Quebec City in a family of painters. At a very young age, he already showed a strong interest in drawing. He learned the basics in the family studio. In 2007, he successfully completed a first series of solo exhibitions that will allow him to devote himself to his art. He then left to practice painting in Lyon, France, for a year, thanks to an agreement with a patron who commissioned several works per month in exchange for a salary. On his return, while continuing his work as an artist, he began studying architecture at Laval University, studies which he completed during an exchange trip to Finland. He now works on his own by combining art, illustration, design and architecture projects.

Katia Canciani

When she was little, Katia read all the time. However, after reading so many adventure novels, she wanted to live her own, so she became an aeroplane pilot. She worked in this field for a few years, and then she found an even more fun adventure: becoming a mum! Over the years, she travelled a lot. In fact, it was after a trip to Spain that she started writing. All of a sudden her head became a busy airport... One idea after another took off! As her sky was beginning to fill up and it was dangerous for air safety, she decided to land those strange planes... on paper! Katia has published more than thirty books for young people. She spends her time writing, flying planes and meeting young people in schools. She lives in Blainville.
