Free Your Body: The Hidden Impact of Scars on Your Health

Discover a secret ignored by modern medicine! This groundbreaking book reveals how scars, often overlooked, deeply disturb your body’s balance. The author, an osteopath with over 10 years’ experience and thousands of consultations to her credit, powerfully demonstrates how scars create invisible tensions that affect not only your mobility, but your overall health.

Through an innovative approach combining science and practice, you’ll learn how to release these blockages and regain energy, flexibility and well-being. By freeing the fascias, the essential tissues that link skin and bone, it’s possible to restore fluidity and harmony to the body. Every scar, whether external or internal, is an opportunity for transformation.

This book goes far beyond simple physical healing: it proposes a journey towards mind-body reconciliation, inspired by the latest discoveries in epigenetics and somatic psychology. Through clinical examples and practical exercises, “Liberate Your Body” will guide you towards a new understanding of the healing power hidden in your scars.

Geoffrey Janier-Dubry

Geoffrey Janier-Dubry, father of two, has been practising osteopathy since 2010. He grew up in Annecy, where he played a number of sports. Rollerblading, snowboarding and mountain biking in particular caused him to fall on his head many times, at a time when helmets were not as common as they are today. His body, bones and dura mater (the membrane that protects the brain and spinal cord) were subjected to a great deal of mechanical stress. Sleep disorders appeared in his teens, and it was osteopathy that resolved them. What a relief! He was so soothed that he fell asleep at every session. He also had headaches, which subsided with each session. He felt the link between bodily tensions and the body's ability to function properly. It was on the strength of this experience that he began studying osteopathy over 15 years ago. Since then, he has found this peace in the bodies of the people who consult him. When he supports someone, he can taste the sweet joy of life taking care of itself.
