How to find, collect and enjoy them

The seeds of many of our edible wild plants are not simply edible, but also very tasty and full of vital ingredients – they’re real power packs! You can use wild seeds in many different ways: as valuable nutrient supplements (making imported superfoods such as chia and fleaseeds superfluous), as condiments and spices, for making mustard, for nutflavoured delights, for flour and coffee, and for cooking oils and seedlings. With 44 profiles of the plants that give us their wild seeds, with details of their growth sites, ripening times, harvesting and applications. Especially fine and full of ideas are the more than 50 recipes: sweet and salty, easy and sophisticated, but always healthy and really delicious.
