This book provides a factual and informed review of the current state of science on the therapeutic potential of cannabis ingredients in various cancers and their practical medical applications.

Scientific studies have shown that the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.) and many cannabis ingredients have anti-cancer properties, including THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol), but also some other lesser known cannabinoids and terpenes. Many cancer patients are looking for alternatives and complementary natural treatments to standard medical procedures in cancer therapy and are pinning their hopes on treatment with cannabis products. However, information on the subject in the media is often contradictory and misleading. This book provides a factual and informed review of the current state of science on the therapeutic potential of cannabis ingredients in various cancers and their practical medical applications. It provides answers to the questions of which cannabinoids can be used, which doses should be used, which preparations are useful, which combinations with standard therapies are promising, and why different cancers require different approaches.
