What can we do when nothing works anymore? This book introduces you to helpful measures and autonomy approaches.

Be it caused by natural disasters or technical malfunctions, be it human error or simply financial hardship; it can happen to any one of us: Suddenly the electricity is gone.

What initially looks like a simple malfunction can quickly turn into an emergency or even a catastrophe. This book describes how such scenarios can arise and what possibilities there are to continue to lead a reasonably orderly life for a while. The author highlights which simple emergency and precautionary measures are possible and sensible, which alternative power supply options are available and how the use of renewable energies can increase personal independence in the long term.
