Search-and-find picture book
A colorful search-and-find picture book about old & new, the long life of tried-and-true objects and the bustling life in and around a thrift shop. In seven search-and-find scenes the illustrator Antonia Vögeli shows an exciting journey through time from the early days of the oldest thrift room in Switzerland in the 13th century, through today’s “social department store”, to a look into a possible future.
Created together and in close collaboration with the team of the ‘Bärner Brocki’, which opened its doors in 1895, this versatile search-and-find picture book was produced. As an exciting picture book it serves for immersing into a colorful world of goods and shops with children in the family or also for engaging with the topics of product cycles, sustainability, recycling/upcycling, dealing with resources and abundance in school and teaching.
