A mobile world in illustrations
In collaboration with the Swiss Museum of Transport, the renowned Lucerne-based illustrator Amadeus Waltenspühl presents seven humorous and thought-provoking hidden object illustrations that depict the theme of mobility and the transport of people and goods in a variety of ways.
During the construction of the ‘House of Energy’ at the Swiss Museum of Transport, an impressive 60 x 18-metre illustration from the Lucerne hidden object book adorned the scaffolding. Inspired by this illustration, the idea arose to create a special hidden object book for the Swiss Museum of Transport. At the opening of the new building the Wimmelbook ist published!.
This book is more than just a hidden object book; it is a collection of technically precise depictions of the original exhibits that will fascinate both children and adults alike. Amadeus Waltenspühl, who has deep ties to the Swiss Museum of Transport and the history of transport, has illustrated all manner of vehicles with great passion and precision. His works offer a lively and tongue-in-cheek depiction of a wide variety of vehicles, enriched by numerous location-specific details. The hidden object book invites readers to discover and marvel, and is a delight for all age groups.
vatter&vatter’s hidden-object books continue to thrive.
