Isn’t the airport an exciting place! So many different-looking people running around with their suitcases, bags and backpacks – have they packed their passport, remembered their boarding pass? What about the planes landing and taking off? And all the staff looking after the planes, filling them with fuel, bringing in snacks, attaching missing screws and so on – there is just so much to see! Come and explore! And maybe you’ll even discover our busy animal crew.

An airport is full of surprises – and not just in Zurich! Whether in the arrivals hall, on the viewing terrace or in the large shopping centre: everywhere travellers are bustling about, luggage is being transported, and we encounter all sorts of interesting (and sometimes even famous!) people, vehicles and, of course, aeroplanes. There are exciting things to discover for young and old alike. And somewhere in the hustle and bustle, the animal aircraft crew can be spotted in the pictures, hiding in the lovingly drawn hidden object scenes. Have fun at the hidden object airport!

The airport is teeming with life, and an animal crew is bustling about in every picture. The new Airport Hidden Object Book by illustrator Beatrice Kaufmann (“The Zurich Hidden Object Book” & “The Bern Hidden Object Book”), published by vatter&vatter, was inspired by Switzerland’s largest airport in Zurich. As a former flight attendant with Swissair and Balair, and working closely with Flughafen Zürich AG, the illustrator was able to draw on a wealth of experience.
