Sometimes there are ten heads and only nine hats. That means there might be more children than there are things to give—one for each of them. So what can be done? We need to find a way to solve this problem. A story that teaches us that material goods are always limited, but feelings never are.

Mercè Galí

after studying Drawing and Illustration, Mercè Galí specialized in Printmaking at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. She works as an illustrator for children and young adults, collaborating with various publishers and magazines, including Cavall Fort.

Micaela Chirif

Micaela Chirif is a Peruvian writer of poetry and picture books for children. She holds a degree in Philosophy and a Master’s in children’s literature and books. She has received several awards, including in 2017 a mention from the Medalla Colibrí IBBY Chile and the Fundación Cuatrogatos Award.
