The places listed in this book are dangerous or even forbidden. What is this «Valley
of Death» located in Eastern Siberia? Does the shortest airport in the world meet any security standard? Why is the famous Panamerican road cut between Panama and Colombia? Who invented the Poison Garden? What is the Blue Hole of the Red Sea? Here is a world tour in 80 perils, illustrated by photographs and exceptional maps. Stuff to shiver on your sofa.
