After pregnancy, women may experience issues such as incontinence, abdominal discomfort, and back pain. Many women face these challenges, which could be linked to the perineum, or pelvic floor. Often overlooked, this area is one that women should take special care of throughout all stages of life. There’s no need to resign oneself to discomfort and pain: a solution exists, and this book reveals it.

The author addresses the issue with a holistic perspective and an integrated approach, providing clear explanations, practical exercises, and expert testimonies from various specialties. Understanding the perineum, learning which practices to adopt to strengthen it, and how to maintain the health and vitality of the entire pelvic floor area is a path accessible to all women, allowing them to regain peace of mind and well-being.

Silvia Della Casa

Silvia Della Casa is an experienced instructor of hypopressive gymnastics using the Caufriez method and a mother of two girls. Her interest in this practice stems from a personal experience: after two close pregnancies, she found herself living with a painful and uncomfortable physical condition, including scoliosis and abdominal diastasis, which also affected her emotionally. This experience motivated her to start working on herself. Already a fitness instructor specializing in women's training, she further trained as a Mamma Fit instructor, attended several seminars and workshops on scoliosis, and eventually discovered hypopressive gymnastics, experiencing its benefits firsthand.
