The young animals of the savannah are all at school, in class with their teacher Elephant. They wonder what a crocodile looks like. They have never seen one and so they are very scared. They try to imagine one and everyone draws it in their own way. The teacher uses the different interpretations to show the animals the characteristics of the various artistic movements. A fun and educational picture book.

Eva Montanari

Eva Montanari was born in Rimini, Italy, in 1977. She studied at the Art Institute of Riccione and later at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan.As both an author and illustrator, she combines her artistic practice with teaching illustration courses in Italy and abroad. Her books have been published in Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and France.Her work has been selected several times for the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, the Original Art Exhibition of the Society of Illustrators (New York), the International Illustration Exhibition of Sarmede, the Croatian Biennial of Illustration and Ilustrarte (Portugal)
