This book is very easy-to-read. It focuses on food intolerances and offers concrete solutions in order to live well with the condition. At first, the author differentiates “allergies” from “food intolerances” and “sensitivities” to better identify the causes and invites the reader to change much more than just dietary habits.

A detailed guide lists the possible alternatives to replace cereals, dairy produce, eggs, etc. The author then gives practical advice for organising everyday life, in particular for children (how to avoid cross- contamination, meal-planning, how to read labels, eating out, school dinners, explaining the allergy to others…). The book includes 80 recipes without milk, egg or gluten.
