Throughout the Alice Editions adventure, which began in 1995, we have chosen to be a committed children’s publishing house.

Our deep conviction is that a beautiful book is a wonderful tool to open children and teenagers to values that are dear to our hearts: respect (for oneself, for others, for the environment), open-mindedness, mutual aid and dialogue.

We want to provoke both reflection and emotion. To awaken critical thinking through reading for pleasure. To transmit messages and the desire to read.

Our small, passionate team carefully selects books for the ideas they convey – books that show an inclusive society, books that are committed to social issues – and for their ability to touch through a beautiful story or beautiful illustrations.

More broadly, we are also committed to living our values in our respectful relationships with authors and illustrators, by creating privileged contacts with independent bookstores, by printing books in Europe, and by committing ourselves to supporting new Belgian creators.
