François Le Doze

François Le Doze is a French neurologist and psychotherapist. After thirty years as a neurologist at Caen University Hospital, he has devoted himself to exploring the connections between the body, the brain and the psyche. He was the first French-speaking trainer of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model and is a pioneer of Polyvagal Theory in France. In 2014 he founded Self Thérapie Formation, where he trains therapists, and since 2017 he has been developing the Relational Intelligence® model, an integrative approach to complex trauma that brings together the neurobiology of trauma, attachment and Polyvagal Theory. He is also the co-author, with C. Krumb, of La Force de la confiance, a presentation of the IFS model.
