Ertner is alternative practioner and yoga teacher . She did Panchakarma
training at the International Academy of Ayurveda in India and worked t the Surya
Lanka Ayurveda Spa Hotel in Sri Lanka. There she developed the concept of
Ayurvedic fasting in cooperation with doctors . Since 1989 she is working in her own
practice, from 2001 in collaboration with alternative practitioner Traudel Ertner
