Anaëlle Thery is a nurseryman (see https://joala.fr/) and author, trained in history and anthropology. Above all, she is passionate about the mechanisms of abundance and field research, with the aim of adapting temperate climate syntropy and plot resilience for efficient, abundant production of vegetables, berries and fruit.
The Joala nursery: a place for research and training
A partner farm of the Ecole d’Agroécologie Voyageuse, the nursery grows dozens of varieties, welcomes visits and trains students, the curious and enthusiasts.
Since 2018 the Joala nursery has also been home to test areas, from the canopy vegetable garden to the “Mini Syntropic Forest”, via various agroforestry hedges with multiple strata and productions. By focusing on research and adjusting plantations to the principles of living soil and syntropic agroforestry, we aim to contribute to a response of adaptation, resilience and abundance in the face of today’s major challenges.
