Anne Mühlmeier

Anne Mühlmeier grew up in the picturesque town of Ludwigsburg. Influenced by her father, a passionate cook, and her mother, who effortlessly created delicious dishes, she developed a deep appreciation for food. Raised on a farm, her mother also instilled in her a profound respect for nature and animals.

Before becoming an author, Anne’s life followed a very different path. She began her modeling career at the age of 15, with a notable appearance on the first season of Germany’s Next Top Model. This was followed by a leading role in Die Wilden Kerle 4 and numerous modeling and acting opportunities worldwide, spanning advertising, fashion, television, and sports in cities like Los Angeles, Milan, and London. However, at 28, after experiencing burnout, she decided to step away from modeling to embark on a journey of self-discovery.

For years, she had neglected her passions for cooking, photography, and nature. It was at this pivotal moment that Ayurveda entered her life, providing balance and healing. When her father passed away, both yoga and Ayurveda became her sources of strength. She later completed training in Ayurveda and fulfilled a lifelong dream by writing For Food and Love.
