Paul Martin creates stories and characters inspired by people he loves, objects dear to him, significant places of his past, and even the cosmos. But his inspiration especially comes from the great emotions of childhood. He works with an economy of details and words in his texts and his illustrations. During his career, he has worked as a gra- phic designer, exhibition designer, art director for a movie magazine, and he created numerous posters for the cinema and other events. A true popularizer of science for children, he also has published a trilogy on space and one about colours in the Clin d’œil collection.
