A powerful and joyful testimony that opens the mind about giving birth naturally.

On the 15th of July, Jeanne eats her placenta. The whole of it, happy and triumphant, with a broad smile on her face. Her daughter Aria just came into life, without help from any doctor or midwife.

In the past, Jeanne has known the frustrations of induced labors and institutional deliveries. For her fifth child, she radically decided to give birth at home, with support from the baby’s father, but without medical help. Thus, Aria was born, and her mother ate her placenta, which gave her a tremendous feeling of empowerment.

She reconnected to the instinct of animals that eat their placenta just after giving birth.
