Jesús Cisneros
He was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1969. He studied illustration at the Escuela de Artes in Zaragoza and Art History at the University of the same city. He has received several awards, including the Lazarillo de Ilustración in 2007 for the album Ramón, and the Special Award I Colori del Sacro in 2012. In 2015 he was awarded a special mention at the Lisbon biennial, Ilustrarte, and in 2016 a special mention at the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival. In 2026 he was awarded the National illustrator prize in Spain.
