It was a Friday, and he was utterly alone. He closed his eyes before stepping inside. His uncle greeted him with a strong scent of old books. They were everywhere, from the very en trance. Uncle Arcimboldo and his little nephew set off aboard an improbable paper galleon, built year by year with the pages of stories the uncle had dis carded. Their incredible voyage would be repeatedly interrupted by strange characters and bi zarre events, but the little child would soon understand the ultimate meaning of the journey his uncle had proposed: every difficulty is noth ing more than the beginning of new adventure
