“The giant and the knight first met when they were kids, one was only three metres tall, the other had blond locks. They both lived in their own beautiful town, but they met in the evening at the halfway point”. A tale that has the flavour of a classic fairy tale and the strength of youth aware of being right. The two friends are reunited after the war, the knight will look after the wounded giant and remain by his side until snow covers them.
When spring awakens and snow has melted, in place of the two friends you can still spot a hill with a small tree on top.

Erika De Pieri
Erika De Pieri made her debut in 2005 as a comic book author, receiving a mention as best newcomer at the 2006 Carlo Boscarato Award. She then continued as an author and illustrator for children, inaugurating a long collaboration with Lavieri in 2009.
