Once upon a time there was an old man tired of remembering. And a flying boat tired of sailing.

Once upon a time there was the sea tired of dominating.

Once upon a time there was a child tired of playing.

Once there was a moment when the old man and the child, for an instant, were again as one.

The Flying Boat is a fairy-tale in which “once upon a time” become a sort of refrain revealing the magic of the story.
