Handbook for the sustainable cultivation of cut flowers

This text is a guide for anyone who dreams of growing flowers in harmony with nature, without using chemicals.

Starting with simple theoretical basics, the book then moves on to practical advice, with tips for growing each species of flower, in-depth information and suggestions on the most suitable varieties for cutting, selected by the author based on her experience in the field. It also includes suggestions for arrangements and bouquets for sale or to decorate the home.

Mara Zambelli

Mara Zambelli, floral designer and organic farming technician, has been working with flowers for ten years. She is the creator and manager of Tuliprendi, the flower farm of the Le Terrazze del Canto agricultural company, located in Mapello, in the province of Bergamo, close to Milan. She grows and sells seasonal cut flowers. She uses organic, regenerative and synergistic farming techniques, fully respecting the agroecosystem in which her business operates. The farm, which has been certified organic since June 2024, also produces wine, following the same agroecological principles.
