She has a date after school in front of the big wall. They often meet here, because it’s a quiet place. The others aren’t there yet. It’s terribly hot.

But why haven’t her friends arrived yet? Suddenly, she is tired of waiting.

On the other side of the wall, there is some shade to hide from the sun. As usual, the place is empty. So, where can this ball come from?

She would like to say thank you… but she can’t say thank you in the other language. Then, she makes sure that she is still alone… and once again hits the ball very hard!

He would like to say something, but the wall is so high… and of course, on the other side, they speak another language. So, he has an idea.

She discovers the face of a boy with glasses, drawn on the ball! She too has a thick felt pen in her pencil case. She makes sure that there is no one… because what she is doing is entirely forbidden!

On the other side of the wall, there is a girl with two ponytails! He wants to add something, but he hears a bell ringing seven o’clock. He is very late!

She waits for a long time… but the ball doesn’t come back… and she must get home before dark!

The next day, the boy comes back at the same time. He adds his name and his age on the ball. He makes sure that he is alone… and he kicks the ball back, hoping that the ponytails girl is still there!

The boy’s name is difficult to pronounce!

She hits the ball very hard again… but just not enough! There is nothing to do.

All he can do is coming back the next dy, with another ball. But the next day he doesn’t come back… nor the following days.

… because the children are no longer allowed to play near the big wall. Then, one day… the wall is taken down. The event attracts a crowd of spectators..

… on one side… and on the other.

In the crowd, there is a boy with glasses… and a girl with ponytails.
