An ecological fable inspired by the real story of Julia Butterfly Hill, who lived 738 days on a sequoia tree to save it

The book tells young children the story of Julia Butterfly Hill, who in 1977, when she was only 23 years old, managed to stop the logging of a large redwood forest in Northern California. Julia lived 738 days at a height of 60 meters among the branches of a sequoia she named Luna.

The story, accompanied by Luna Colombini’s beautiful drawings, is a call to action to defend what we love.
