In a village deep in the woods, people go about their business. Nothing could disturb their peace and quiet. Except perhaps an earthquake in the village square. That’s it, they are worried. Suddenly, the big rock in the middle of the square starts to move and pops out of the ground. A giant appears, terrifying the inhabitants. He destroys everything as he goes, leaving the villagers to face a whole range of emotions and feelings.

What appealed to us:

The illustrations are full of detail and colour, in a “search and find” style;
Each page focuses on an emotion, both for the main story (the giant’s) and the secondary ones;
The possibility of displaying 12 beautiful posters in the classroom to talk about emotions.
