Combat and improvisation in systema
Systema is a Russian hybrid combat art, somewhere between a survival art and a way of life, which is currently revolutionizing the world of Martial Arts. Its unique feature is that it is based not on a technical corpus, as is often the case in Martial Arts disciplines, but on evolving principles related to improvisation. Addressing specific Martial Arts themes such as strikes and throws, but also more transversal themes (the emotional body, exploration of falling or pain), it will appeal to those interested in combat as well as improvisational practices such as dance, music, circus, theater, etc.
