Inventions and strategies

Over the last ten years, a new vision of architecture has emerged, where sobriety is becoming seductive, where the techniques and creativity of young designers are producing new forms of construction: less opulent and more intelligent, less luxurious but more comfortable. After “Natural Architecture”, Alexandro Rocca presents here a series of examples of this exceptional architecture, of these original inventions, more ecological, sustainable and energy-saving, which will be the habitat of tomorrow.

Alessandro Rocca

Alessandro Rocca, architect, writes articles and books, designs architectural and landscape projects, and teaches architecture at the Politecnico of Milan, where he is scientific coordinator of the Aip (architecture, infrastructure, landscape) research group. He is currently interested in the relationship between architectural design and nature, which he considers to be the most promising and creative issue for radically renewing our way of thinking about architecture, landscape and the world we live in.
