1001 visions of sex is a somewhat comical project, a joyful project, both graphic and sociological. For five years, Patrice Bauduinet asked people from different backgrounds if they would play a little game: take a pencil and draw a female sex, then a male sex. On a Moleskine notebook, people aged from 2 to 93 gave their vision of sex! Approximately 2500 representations of wieners and weenies, symbolic, poetic, humorous, medical, delicate, obscene, surgical or surreal!
Each chapter opens with a drawing by Edmond Baudouin, painter, illustrator and comic book author!

Patrice Bauduinet

Patrice BAUDUINET was born in 1969. He trained as a graphic designer and film director. He has been working in the artistic world in Belgium for about twenty years. He has directed some fifteen short films combining humour and erotic flights of fancy, including La nuit du 6 au 7, in which Cécile de France simmers naked in a pot of mashed potatoes. An unclassifiable artist, he is renowned for his humorous drawings and exhibits his creations in many cities around the world. And also the thousands of people who have played the game.
