Whitley Strieber

Whitley Strieber is the New York Times bestselling author of more than thirty books, an investigative journalist, and a leading voice in the exploration of consciousness, the unexplained, and humanity’s place in a larger cosmos. His 1987 memoir Communion, which documented his personal contact with what he calls “the visitors”, became an international sensation and was adapted into a feature film starring Christopher Walken. Before Communion he was already an established novelist with horror classics including The Wolfen and The Hunger, both adapted into major motion pictures. His 1999 book with Art Bell, The Coming Global Superstorm, inspired the film The Day After Tomorrow. He hosts Dreamland, one of the longest-running podcasts in the world, and founded Unknowncountry.com with his late wife and lifelong collaborator Anne Strieber. He lives in San Antonio, Texas.
