Sergio Ocampo

Sergio Ocampo is a somatic psychotherapist, teacher, and co-developer of DST Somatics (Dynamic Somatic Touch), an integrative approach to resolving trauma, chronic pain and nervous-system overwhelm. Born in Mexico, he brings a cross-cultural perspective to generational trauma and ancestral work. A licensed marriage and family therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, he has assisted and co-taught with Dr. Peter Levine and co-facilitates at Levine’s Ergos Institute of Somatic Education. He serves as adjunct faculty at Antioch University Los Angeles and The Embody Lab, and sits on the board of directors of Somatic Experiencing International. He teaches workshops and retreats internationally through professional and educational organizations. He lives in Los Angeles.
