Sean D. Sadler

Sean D. Sadler was born in Saskatchewan in 1961. He has practiced as a securities regulatory lawyer in Toronto, Canada since 1989. He lives in Oakville, Ontario with his wife, Gigi, and their five children. His Stoic practice deepened during a difficult period in his life, when Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, and Musonius Rufus proved to be surprisingly solid roommates of the mind. The Stoic Way, his first book, blends family, life, work, humour, and ancient guidance into short meditations that aim to remind us of a simple truth: life rarely goes as planned, yet there is always something worthwhile to be found in the mess.
