A few years ago we knew: we wanted to be publishers. And Diversa was born full of desire, ideas and projects, as all dreams are born.

Shortly afterwards we decided to leave the asphalt and go back to nature, and now the publishing house is where we are: in the countryside. There are not many cars around here, not even too many people, but sometimes a fox or a wild boar come to sniff around the door, and while we contemplate them quietly, trying not to scare them, we are even more aware of why we decided to live among these fields that are filled with green in spring and yellow in summer, and brown -that brown that defines us so much and with which we colour our logo- the rest of the year. And so, between the cold of winter and the sun that dries the earth in summer, each book takes shape.

We are on the road: Olga, Carlos and Coco, our doggy co-editor (Coco left us a few months after writing these lines), but also, and above all, our authors and collaborators, who are already part of this family. And we can’t forget our distributors and booksellers, who do the impossible so that the books can reach your hands.

Diversa is a project that has been growing slowly but steadily. We began by diving into the most unknown corners of the human being and the universe, as we have always felt attracted by everything that has something mysterious and incomprehensible, and now, taking a conscious turn in this journey, fruit of our deepest personal convictions, we want this to be an open space to talk about animal rights, veganism, sustainability or ecology, topics that should already be overcome but for which we still have to fight in this world that is a little crazy.
