Since 1901, we’ve been at the forefront of holistic and metaphysical publishing and thought. We’ve been a source of illumination, instruction, and new perspectives on a wealth of topics, including astrology, tarot, wellness, earth-based spirituality, magic, and the paranormal. From e-books to tarot-themed iPhone apps, Llewellyn has embraced the Digital Age to continue our mission.

Llewellyn grew to include two critically acclaimed and award-winning imprints. Midnight Ink, an imprint for mystery fiction, was launched in 2006. During Midnight Ink’s 14 years, many titles were nominated for the coveted Agatha Award for best mystery fiction. There were a significant number of Agatha wins for ‘Best First Novel’ and ‘Best Novel.’ Midnight Ink also garnered many Ippy, Lefty and Foreword awards as well. We are proud to have launched the literary careers of acclaimed authors such as G.M. Malliet, Karen MacInerney, Jess Lourey to name but a few. And to work with the incredibly prolific and popular authors such as Catriona McPherson, Maddy Hunter and Sue Ann Jaffarian. The last Midnight Ink title was published in Fall 2019. Flux an imprint for young adult fiction, was launched also in 2006. During the course of its lifetime as a Llewellyn imprint, Flux proudly launched the careers of three New York Times bestselling authors: Laurie Faria Stolarz, Maggie Stiefvater, and Simone Elkeles. Llewellyn sold the Flux imprint to North Star Editions, Inc. in 2016.

Llewellyn also partners with Italian publisher Lo Scarabeo, as the exclusive US and Canadian distributor of their beautiful tarot and oracle decks. They also partner with Blue Angel, an Australian publisher of oracles, books, CDs, and other sidelines.
