Masaru Emoto

Dr. Masaru Emoto is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University’s Department of Humanities and Sciences with a focus on International Relations. In 1992, he received certification from the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. Subsequently, he was introduced to the concept of micro-cluster water and Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology in the United States, which began his quest to discover the mystery of water. Dr. Emoto researched water extensively around the planet from the perspective of an original thinker. He realized that in the frozen crystal form, water shows its true nature.

Dr. Emoto is the author of several bestselling books, including The Hidden Messages in Water, The True Power of Water, The Secret Life of Water, and a three-volume photo collection of beautiful water crystals and commentary. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages.

Dr. Emoto heads the worldwide Hado Instructor School where he teaches the ancient principle of hado, or life-force vibration. He is the chairman of IHM Co., the director of the IHM General Research Institute, and president emeritus of the International Water for Life Foundation, a not-for-profit organization. He is a longtime advocate for water and travels around the world to spread the message of peace shown by his crystals.
