Laetitia Hébert lived in Japan for several years, which is where her passion for kokeshi dolls began. She visited numerous workshops in Tohoku and conducted research on the history of these dolls. She is now one of Europe’s leading kokeshi specialists and runs an informative website on the subject (Folkeshi.com).
