Katja Gehrmann
Katja Gehrmann, was born in 1968 and studied illustration in Hamburg, Spain and Mexico. She teaches at an art school for children and works for magazines and a variety of publishing houses and has won numerous awards for her illustrations, for example a “Golden Apple” at the Biennial of Illustration in Bratislava or the Troisdorf scholarship for children’s book illustration . In 2014, she was nominated for the German Prize for Youth Literature in the category children’s books.
