James A. Hill

Jim Hill spent 30 years in the marketing communications industry, first as the founder and CEO of New York-based Redspring Communications, then as a C-level executive at agencies working with national brands on content strategy and development. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Composition from DePauw University, a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia, and completed graduate studies at Middlebury’s Bread Loaf School of English in Vermont and Lincoln College, Oxford. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 prostate cancer in late 2017, just six months after leaving marketing to indulge his passion for writing poetry and nonfiction. Midpoint is his first book-length work.
