Hoy Ping Yee Chan

Hoy Ping Yee Chan, OMD has over 25 years experience as a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine along with 18 years prior to that, working as a medical doctor in China.

Over the past 30 years, she has shared her theories, medical knowledge, clinical experience and health care recommendations in acupuncture schools, continuing education seminars, television, newspaper interviews, public communities, and presentations at acupuncture conferences worldwide. In 2007, Hoy Ping Yee Chan was selected as one of the world’s outstanding acupuncturists by the World Journal of Acupuncture-Moxibustion.

Now retired, Dr. Chan continues to share her knowledge through books about acupuncture and herbal treatments with younger practitioners in order to benefit their patients. Her deep wish is that more acupuncturists obtain expanded knowledge to take care of elders who are suffering vision damage so that these seniors will have a better life in their old age. A second wish is that there will soon be better integration between traditional Chinese and Western medical practitioners to bring about improved treatment of eye diseases commonly found in seniors.
