Aurélie Coulon

Aurélie has loved to imagine stories since she was a child.
At the age of 8, she asked for a typewriter and started her first text: “The secret trunk”.
Then she studied literature, which satisfied her thirst for writing for a while. She then became a school teacher.
Her first daughter Margot was born, followed by her second daughter Alice. She decided to take time for her family and stopped working for three years.
She then found time to write short stories, which she shared with her husband alone.
But he also invents stories: he makes films! So, after participating in his films as an actress, she went to the other side of the camera.
Together they rewrote the short story ‘Funambule’, which became a short film

Sophie and Olivier, two friends, discovered her texts thanks to the film and offered to illustrate some of her short stories.
Aurélie then put a finger in the collaboration gear and realised that her universe could resonate with other universes.
So when Olivier told her that he would like to illustrate a wolf story for his two boys, it was only natural that she offered him the text of Margot et l’ogre.
Another collaboration is currently underway with a talented illustrator for Alice.
And since then, she has had a third little girl: Joséphine. She too will have her book, but first things first!
